Wireless glass-break detector with electret microphone operating on Ajax’s secure Jeweller radio protocol. Designed for indoor protection of windows, glass doors, showcases and other vulnerable glass surfaces. Key Features

• DualTone detection algorithm — requires detection of both a low-frequency impact (dull sound) and a high-frequency ringing (glass fragments) within ~1.5 seconds to trigger alarm. Cuts down false alarms from traffic, dogs barking, etc. ajax.systems+1

• Adjustable sensitivity — three levels via Ajax app for adaptation to environment. ajax.systems+1

Applications & Suitable Use

• Ideal for securing glass windows, doors, display cases, and other glass panels in homes, offices, retail stores, schools, etc.

• Use in areas where false alarms are a concern (near busy roads, pets, etc.), since detector filters non-glass break noises.

• Best in indoor, sheltered locations. Avoid installing outdoors or where the glass is heavily covered with masking films unless a detector with shock/tilt is used.

• Works well in systems where quick verification is required: once glass break is detected, hub triggers alarms, notifications, and connected sirens, or runs automation scenarios (lighting, camera recording etc.).
